Although Living Unity, Inc considers the Bible to be our primary inspired doctrine, we consider all benevolent doctrines of spirituality and religion for study and debate to reach the Truth and to acquire an Understanding through Unconditional Love (God).
As it is stated in I Jhn 4: 8: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. We know that God is Unconditional Love and Unconditional Love is God. Living Unity through Spiritual Ascension Church Inc. teaches that through the metaphysical and/or our way of thinking, God ( Unconditional Love), if allowed, will use humanity as a vessel for healing ourselves, others as well as the World.
Man (Humanity) was created to possess the Divine Spark of God (Unconditional Love), and we were granted through God's Mercy the individualization of God's Spirit, i.e. our Free Will. When our Free Will became self evident, it became our individual “Ego” and/or our individual “Personality” and no longer obligated to be obedient to the true nature of man, which is Unconditional Love (God).It is our “Ego” or “Personality” which has perpetuated the Fall of Man in awareness of our true identity and heritage as Children of God.
Only by the realization and acceptance of Humanity to acknowledge that we possess the potential of becoming a Divine Vessel and thus, a Child of God, if we chooses to direct our Free Will or Desire to the continued betterment of ourselves and our fellow brethren, through practicing correct thinking and conduct can Humanity be saved from the mental stress and corruption of this World.
“Truth” is the key to understanding spiritual principles. It is only through being honest and true with the inner dwellings of oneself that you can receive and know the Wisdom of God, thereby freeing oneself of the common negative all about “me” thinking of the ego/personality or flesh, which is the common yet not standard thinking in this World .
Each believer is an integral part of The Church. For the true church is each ones own body when filled with Truth and Love (God). For it states in Corinthians 6:19; “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own.” The worldly term of Church , is just the building, for God's true Church is a living being who's life is dedicated to Love (God).
Healing is provided first in the spiritual realms then manifests itself into the physical. It is imperative that one who is healing and one that is being healed are both aware of this truth before any permanent healing should take place. (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Matt. 8:16, 17; St. John 5:14)
We were created in the image of and through The Divine Thought of God, in order to experience and thus give praise and thanks to God for our experience and therefore life through remembering our responsibility of keeping and manifesting God's greatest commandments of loving God with all our heart, soul and mind (Matthew 22:37) as well as loving our neighbors as self (Matthew 22:39). The journey to maturity or perfection is the purpose of incarnation or life.
Through Man (Humanity) being a spark of God manifested in the flesh, we are therefore heir to the throne of the Most High, and our inheritance is as God's. As is stated in Psalms 82:6: I have said, Ye are all gods; and all of you are children of the Most High and as Jesus spoke in John 10: 32-38; 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. *Other scriptures stating man's potential are (Gen 1:26; Gen 3:22)
We believe and teach that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and thoroughly believe what Jesus said in St John 14:12; Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.
